Job Description/Responsibilities

Sazerac's Safety Internship offers students a thorough opportunity to work in the distilled spirits industry. This role supports all bottling/distilling/distribution Safety and Environmental initiatives.

 

Our Interns work closely with our operation’s top talent, gain a thorough understanding of our departments and the career opportunities within each, all while working hands on contributing to and leading projects that directly impact company productivity and growth.

 

Expectations of Technical Internship:

  • Work with a mentor to develop project plans and set goals.
  • Complete health and safety process improvement projects in assigned areas
  • Develop and write standards for assigned processes.
  • Technical intern events will also be available both in and out of work. These include networking throughout the company, time with senior leaders and extracurricular activities.
  • Position located in Owensboro, KY
  • Sazerac will not sponsor applicants for work visas for these positions

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's level degree in Environmental Science, Health, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field
  • Ability and willingness to commit to the entirety of Sazerac's internship program
  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
